Elizaveta Semenova

At the recent Quantum 2.0 Conference 2024 that took place in Rotterdam on June 23-27, Elizaveta Semenova from DTU contributed an invited talk titled “Scalable quantum photonic devices operating in the telecom C-band”.

During her presentation, Elizaveta Semenova presented the deterministic fabrication of quantum-dot photonic devices emitting high-purity single-photons in the telecom C-band, explaining how it can enable new functionalities for on-chip quantum information processing.

The presentation focused on DTU’s latest advancements in creating scalable, high-performance quantum photonic devices tailored for the telecom wavelength, a core objective of the QPIC1550 project.

The Quantum 2.0 Conference, organised by Optica, brought together leading researchers and experts in quantum disciplines from across the globe, to discuss groundbreaking developments in quantum technology.

DTU’s talk highlighted innovative approaches to integrating quantum photonic devices, which are essential for the realisation of future-ready quantum networks and computing systems.
