ECOC, the European Conference on Optical Communications, is the largest and most prestigious event on optical communications in Europe and the second largest worldwide. It brings together researchers from industry and academia to discuss advances and explore future trends that will drive scientific progress and economic growth.
This year, two submissions from UWA within QPIC1550 were accepted as oral presentations:
- “Towards Scalable Quantum Clock Synchronisation Networks with Low-Cost Single-Photon Avalanche Detectors and High-Brightness Photonic Integrated Entangled Pair Sources”, presenting recent progress on quantum clock synchronisation using QPIC1550 devices, including MRR‑based entangled‑pair sources.
- “Quantum Readout based on Silicon Photonic Integrated Circuits for Enhanced Security”, showcasing advances in quantum readout for enhanced security, leveraging the QPIC1550 mesh platform for PUF‑related research.
