On 8–9 May 2025, the QPIC1550 consortium convened for its 5th General Assembly, hosted in the premises of the DTU – Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen.
The meeting brought together all project partners for two days of strategic collaboration, updates, and planning. During the first day, work package leaders presented the latest progress, highlighting technical milestones and upcoming challenges. On the second day, discussions focused on dissemination, communication, and exploitation strategies as the project enters a more mature phase of implementation.
A special thank you goes to the DTU team for their warm hospitality and excellent hosting — with Elizaveta Semenova, Caterina Vigliar, Karolina Połczyńska, and Paweł Holewa ensuring a smooth and productive experience for all attendees.
The assembly concluded with a guided tour of DTU’s Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering laboratories, offering partners an inside look into DTU’s state-of-the-art quantum photonics facilities and ongoing research.
Stay tuned as QPIC1550 continues to push forward toward scalable, integrated quantum photonics at 1550nm!
