Marcin Syperek from PWR – Wrocław University of Science and Technology – presented the latest developments from the QPIC1550 project at the Integrated Optics – Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods – IOS 2025, held in Szczyrk, Poland, on 24 – 28 February 2025.

On February 27, as part of the Application of Optoelectronic and Photonic Systems session, the QPIC1550 partner delivered a talk on Deterministic fabrication of cavity-coupled quantum dot single-photon source for quantum photonic applications“, a collective work by P. Holewa, M. Burakowski, P. Mrowiński, E. Zięba-Ostój, D. Biegańska, E. Semenova and M. Syperek.
Marcin shared innovative methods for fabricating highly efficient, cavity-enhanced quantum dot sources, which are essential building blocks for scalable quantum photonic networks operating at telecom wavelengths.

The IOS conference gathered experts from around the world to discuss the latest technological and scientific advances in optoelectronics and photonics.

We are proud to see QPIC1550’s results showcased in such a dynamic and forward-looking environment and look forward to further collaborations emerging from these discussions.
