As part of the QPIC1550 project, DTU was invited to present their latest work on “Scalable quantum photonic devices operating in the telecom C-band” at the Scientific Quantum Conference 2024 hosted by the Danish Quantum Community on April 15-16, at the University of Southern Denmark. The event, which brought together over 100 quantum researchers, enthusiasts, and industry experts, showcased Denmark’s ongoing advancements in quantum research and applications.
DTU’s talk delved into the design and development of quantum photonic devices optimised for scalability and telecom wavelength operation, aligning with QPIC1550’s focus on creating robust, integrated quantum technologies for next-generation quantum networks. This presentation highlighted DTU’s role in advancing telecom-compatible quantum technologies, contributing to the broader vision of scalable, high-performance quantum solutions within the QPIC1550 framework.
The event provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, allowing DTU to connect with national and international experts in quantum technologies.
