On Thursday, 16 January 2025, Elizaveta Semenova from DTU – Technical University of Denmark delivered an invited tutorial at the 3rd Quantum Optics and Nanophotonics Winter School, which took place on 15&16 January 2025 at the University of Sheffield, UK.
Her tutorial, titled “Engineering Scalable Quantum Light Sources for Telecom Applications“ offered an in-depth overview of current strategies and breakthroughs in developing quantum light sources tailored for telecom C-band operation – a crucial step towards building scalable and efficient quantum communication networks.
The Winter School brought together young researchers and leading experts from around the world for a week of education and training in the latest advances in quantum optics and nanophotonics.
